    Hi guys,

I’m looking to do this same trip leaving in early September and wondered about the sleeping bags you used. Were they warm enough? I have the exact same model but was planning on taking a warmer 2-3 season bag instead?

    many thanks

    Josh

      Hi there Josh,

The quick answer is No, they weren’t warm enough! We had some very cold nights in the desert and on some of the higher passes where we’d have to wear all our clothes as well as the sleeping bags and liners and we’d still be cold. On the plus side, they are very small and light! If you can afford the cost and space, I’d recommend splashing out on something a bit warmer.

      Enjoy the trip!
