Next up: The Great Divide

Our next adventure will be the Great Divide cycle route from Banff, Canada to New Mexico.

It’s the world’s longest off road bike route, covering 2700 miles and over 200,000 feet of elevation gain! The route is mapped and maintained by the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA).

We’re due to depart in late June and we’ll spend about three months cycling toward the Mexican border. Then we’re hoping to head towards the Grand Canyon and spend some time riding in the parks around there before flying out of Las Vegas in early October.

The maps have arrived, as have the new bikes. The flights are booked and the training has begun.
